Board of Management
Responsible for the strategic development and governance of the college, the Board of Management currently comprises of 15 members from industry, the community, local enterprise, the Principal, two staff representatives and a student representative.
The Board of Management was established under the provisions of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992. The Board meets a minimum of four times a year and members are also expected to join one of the committees that support the work of the Board.
Members of the Board serve on a voluntary basis, without remuneration, and are appointed for a term of office not exceeding four years. A member may be reappointed for a further term but no member can serve for more than eight years.
