Freedom of Information
Publication Scheme
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 requires Scottish Public Authorities to adopt and maintain a publication scheme, and to publish information in accordance with that scheme. The Motherwell College Scheme specifies:
(a) the classes of information which we publish or intend to publish,
(b) the manner in which information of each class is, or is intended to be, published; and
(c) whether the published information is, or is intended to be, available to the public free of charge or on payment.
The Motherwell College publication scheme is our first step in complying with the Act, which came into force on 1 January 2005. Further information on Freedom of Information requests will be made available in due course.
