Library and Learning Centres

Image of LibraryThe Library and Learning Centre is situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the College main teaching block.

These are bright, comfortable learning spaces with experienced, friendly staff available to help guide you through the facilities on offer.

The Library is operated in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council’s Public Library Service. Anyone with a North Lanarkshire Council library card – which you can obtain at the College - can borrow from the College library. Just bring along proof of your identity or your student card - something with your name and home address on it, e.g. a driver’s licence.

The Learning Centre is one of five hundred branded ‘learndirect scotland’ centres situated throughout Scotland. This is a local facility for people to access courses, PCs, the Internet and printing facilities, with tutor support if required.

The Library and Learning Centre gives access to a wide variety of resources including books, DVDs, Open Learning courses, leisure reading, newspapers, periodicals and magazines.
