Mad Hatter’sTea Party is just one of a host of events ML One restaurant has lined up in 2012. Last month, students put on a magical Winter Wonderland showcase as well as a bonny auld Burns Supper. So popular are the themed events that ML One will be bringing a host of lunches and dinners throughout the year, including a1950’s Grease night, a Spanish Tapas extravaganza, and not forgetting Valentine’s Day – for all you romantics.
Speaking of the events, Head of Department Garry Allan, said: “The themed events have been going down a storm with diners and students. They require the Hospitality Management students to undertake everything from writing the menu to marketing, giving students a real taste of the industry.
“The creativity, skills and dexterity required in today’s event would test any professional, and I have no doubt that diners will be blown away by Andrea’s talents.”
The themed events take place in the College’s commercial Training Restaurant, ML One, utilising the purpose built kitchen facilities within the College’s £70m campus.
