Core Skills
In our everyday lives it is important to be able to work with other people effectively and think of creative ways to solve problems.
Most jobs these days also expect people to be able to use a computer, work with numbers and communicate efficiently.
At Motherwell College we’ll help you to develop these skills and build your confidence. It could help you get the job you want, or just make your life a
little bit easier.
These key skills may be a taught part of an NQ programme, or developed as part of another class.
Motherwell College has an experienced, flexible and supportive team of
lecturers ready to help you develop these skills and grow your
confidence.
Study Skills Support
We offer a range of workshops, or one-on-one support to help you:
- Brush up on basic skills
- Learn how to make the most of your studies
- Get support for learning difficulties, such as dyslexia
