Student Advice Centre
Throughout the year staff are at hand to help you with any issues that may arise. The Student Advice Centre is next to Reception at the main College entrance.
Staff in the Advice Centre to provide information, advice and support for all students - before, during and even after their course.
The Advice Centre is also open to the local community and strong links are maintained with local and national information and support organisations.

Information on Motherwell College Students Association, Young
Scot and general student activities can be obtained from John Johnston.
Various social and cultural events are arranged during the year to help make your time at College more memorable.
Students who wish to get involved, or suggest further activities should make contact through the Student Common Room or
Student Advice Centre.

This Inclusiveness Strategy applies to all students at Motherwell College.
The Access and Inclusion Team operate several programmes, including 2 Prince's Trust groups.
They are also responsible for ensuring equality of access and opportunity for all students.

All students are entitled to an individual assessment to ensure appropriate strategies are put in place to support individual needs
and within the resources of the College. If you need additional equipment or support for your course, this can normally be arranged.
Teaching and Learning materials can be provided in alternative formats and a range of other strategies which might include
communication support, note-takers, readers, specialist software, tape recorders or spellcheckers may be put in place.
